I think the best seafood restaurant in DC is Pesce on P near 20th. Next is Kinkead's on PA Ave. near 20th. But neither of them are the fish + rolls
+ baked potato type of place. Just very good fresh fish well prepared. Johnny's Halfshell has excellent fish as well as other kinda Southern dishes. I want to go back to try the chicken and dumplings. The only time I've been there was in November before going to the theater and we didn't have time to wait for that dish. The oysters at the bar are excellent.
