The Vermont Pub and Brewery, owned by Greg Noonan has great beer and the food is also very good. For asian food you can't go wrong with Five Spice Cafe, especially their offbeat, but incredible dim sum. Three tomatoes on Church St is very good. For a more expensive meal try Pauline's Cafe on Shelburne Road it is wonderful, and save room for the Bananas Foster.

The Ice House, right on the lake overlooking the ferry, was wondreful last time I was there (several years ago). They had an outdoor deck, too, overlooking the Lake. I wish I could go with you!
