If you're staying in this area to ski or traveling to Montreal via I-91...get
off in Lyndonville and head for East Burke, VT and the "River Garden Cafe".
The food is what I've only read about...fresh, a wonderful variety of
choices, artfully served in a relaxed, sort of funky, atmosphere. The
bruschetta served daily with different toppings is a must...the pork bbq
sandwich at lunch is served with chunks of pork lightly adorned with BBQ
sauce on a sourdough roll with tomato, lettuce. The staff is excellent...the
food is some of the best in VT.

 Hi

I have to second the recommendation for this wonderful restaurant. They
have the best brownie sundae I've ever eaten, and I'm from the ice cream
capitol of the world (NE). I asked them about this. The whipped cream and
ice cream are made fresh daily from milk from the local cattle. The
brownies are also baked on premises. We ate dinner there Saturday night
and breakfast Sunday morning. It was all we could do to keep ourselves
from ordering another Sundae at 9 AM!
