Recently, Rob Rothberg posted an enthusiastic message about Bove's spaghetti sauce from Burlington, VT. Since I used to make my own sauce from tomatoes in the garden, but have gotten away from that, I never have a sauce that I like as well as my own. I decided to take Rob up on his suggestion and see what this stuff is all about. I called the restaurant (802) 862-7235, and spoke to Mark, who is a third generation Bove and who was shocked and thrilled that I had heard about his sauce via the internet. They are delightful folks to deal with. The sauce is, as Rob implied, to die for.
