Utah has several great brewpubs.
In Salt Lake is Squatters, the first in town and a great choice for pre and post event/show spot, my favorite is the black & tan, but the have great ales & lagers. Their sister pub, Fuggles, is just around the corner and a little more upscale, A great chef there turns out killer meals. Try the roasted chicken and garlic smashed potatoes, it rocks! The have basically the same brew that Squatters does, try the Heifewiezen or the Rasberry Wheat.

Just between the two is Red Rocks BrewPub. It is nicely designed and decorated with a great selection of brews.

There is also Desert Edge at the Pub in Trolley Square. A newcomer and I have not really sampled the beer, great lunches however.

Uinta Brewing does not have a brew pub, but there beer is available at many bars and restaurants around town, plus you can stop in at their brewery and sample their stuf. The Cutthroat Ale is great!

The first brewery in the area was in Park City, Wasatch Brew Pub. The most popular beer in the region, and rightfully so. The Slickrock is great. Wasatch is widely available around the area, but their brepub is at the top of Main Street in Park City and is worth the trip.

I can go on if you would like, there is a brewpub in Ogden called Ebenezers, another in Moad called Eddie McStiffs with more on the way.

Not really a dry state!

Good drinks!
