Doug, I reckon the one to visit is Poland Street in the West End (http://www.thenosebag.net/map.asp?RestaurantID=1719&Postcode=W1V3DF) The Kaiten thingy (the conveyor belt) is quite good fun, though there are some bits and pieces that are a rare find and may have to be ordered specifically. You sometimes need to be a bit quick of the mark to make the most of the beer robot (where can I get one of those?) The best recommendation that I can give is that we took a couple of friends there, who'll return - not bad as one of them doesn't like fish (though we didn't know that at the time). -- Regards Simon http://www.theNosebag.net/ Searchable restaurant listings for London on an interactive tube map! Fortunately Monmouth Street is on the local map at Leicester Square tube station. Thought their "Soup plus 5 dishes for £6-50" deal was good for the middle of the day - about the right quantity. I like these conveyor belt places because you can try things out without being an expert on sushi. This seems a good way to start. The advantage of Gili Gulu is that costs are known before you start - either £6.50 for one of their set meals or £12.00 for all you can eat - plus drinks and service of course.
