The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Cornwall - Rick Stein's restaurant. It'll cost 'an arm and a leg' but for me it's the definitive fish/seafood restaurant. They have several rooms and I would recommend staying there. I can't remember its number but the one above the entrance is my preferred room.

The area is not heavily touristy and I believe that Sebastian Coe has been known to visit. ! Beware - they do close during the winter though.
