COME AND HAVE YOU SAY ABOUT THE PUB AND CLUB OF TEESSIDE e-mail you re-view to me at [email removed] or on-line at my site..http://groups.msn.com/WEARETEESSIDE

The definitive guide: Hartlepool: Knights and The Studio. Stockton: The Green Dragon Yard on a Friday night. Boro: The Empire on a Saturday night ..but best of all... Club M Tall Trees on a Friday night is unbeatable! £15 to get in, but a free bar all night!!! Alan Goodwin, Hartlepool

vienna is the best bar in boro..a long queue but well worth the wait. vic, boro

yawn. all the clubs are the same in boro. the only exceptions to the rule are the odd night at the arena when they book heads like ca$h money and flip da script at the purple onion on the 2nd and 4th friday of every month. North East Hip Hop represent!!!! Joe Cooper, middlesbrough

just had a quick look round a new club opening in south bank by the lads working there. looks like the place to be n sounds like none stop party nights. does anybody no more about the club? ps next to a66 garage. clair, middlesbrough

huxters is one of the best pubs in the centre of boro cos of its friendly atmosphere and range of music. the rudds arms is the best local pub in boro. louise, middlesbrough

I for one hate Tall Trees, as it is this that brings louts from miles around to use as a place to get lashed up before going to the club. Just ask anyone who lives in Allerton Green who wakes up to find cans and bottles in their garden the next morning. Rob, Yarm

The courtyard hotel in stockton-on-tees. This place does great meals, good beer, and looks onto a lovely square. Douglas, Glasgow

I live in Hartlepool and believe me the wesley is the worst of all, pay the extra and go out of town to the tall trees Yarm it would be a much better night out Mick Harry, hartlepool

save yr money and stay in or go to talltrees yarm.xxxxxx a.miller, south bank, middlesbrough

i agree club m is the best place by far see all you clubbers on friday. ian pearson, middlesbrough

Yarm has to be the nicest place to drink in the area. Plenty of choice both for drinking and eating. An excellent stepping stone to Tall Trees (if your old enough to remember it as TT). Most of the time it's trouble free. But most of all friendly. Chris P, Hartburn

The lounge (formerly bojangles) in Darlington is cool with some great music and people in classy surroundings. Jamie, Darlington

bambooza on stockton high st (the old yates's) has to be the best pub in stockton. always a good atmosphere, and the door staff are always friendly(and good looking). 'A', Stockton

Club M - Retro night goes off, Am currently travelling Australia and am missin the place! 12/15 quid to get in but well worth it! Yarm high street first is a good option too!!! Kate, Yarm

hartlepool is a good place 4 a night out the best place would be the wesley your shoes might stick to the floor but its great. Vicki Baker, Hartlepool

I think Walkabout is fantastic, everyone should go in!! Go and say hi to the bar staff, there really friendly, especially Shauny, he's a bit down at the moment coz his girlfriends in Florida, go cheer him up!! Jennifer Mitchell, Middlesbrough

Stockton town centre used to be excellent but over the years has came to a stand still, why? Anyway, because of this i now go to Darlington every Sat night, great atmsophere, friendly people, especially in 2K. Andy, Stockton

I'm sorry but you are all wrong!! Has everyone forgotten about Tall Trees?! We have the biggest club in Europe on our doorstep and no-one remembers it!! Club M is the best place, EVER! Abs, Yarm

All the pubs in Middlesbrough apart from The Chicago Rock Cafe cater for the youngster. The bars are generally very tacky or americanised. Gary 'the know it all'

Bongo is the best place in town by far entertainment value goes through the roof u need 2 b there on thursday n friday nites for the best laugh, peace out. Simon Metcalfe, Middlesbrough

For a excellent night out in Middlesbrough it has to be The Empire on a Friday (Sugar Shack). Plays host to some of the UK's top DJ's with a great atmosphere and funky people!!!! Claire M, Middlesbrough

The Dickens Inn in Middlesbrough is a class night on Sundays. The King Singh, Middlesbrough

For a great night out go to Sharkeys in Redcar, they play some top cheesy tunes, and you can even get an ice cream outside! June Wray, Middlesbrough

When I first came to Middlesbrough ten years ago the town centre was a cracking night out-something for everyone. Now all that is on offer is tacky plastic pubs and clubs with silly names packed with silly people getting drunk and fighting. Nowdays I tend to keep away from the town centre and go to out of town pubs. David Parker, Middlesbrough

Definitely get yourself down to the Poverina in Normanby. The beer is well cheap and they've even got their own dart board. Simon Daniells, Normanby

Get yourself down to Bar Zantia in Stockton. Free entry most of the time and if you can stand the odd drunken fool it's a great night. Chris Edwards, Thornaby

The clubs in Middlesbrough have gone downhill in recent years (yeah yeah, I am an old fogie), but thank God for the Empire and Club M. Without these it wouldnt be worth leaving the local. Andy, Middlesbrough

My tip for a great night out would be the Empire in Boro on a Saturday. Great atmosphere, music, and people. Pubs beforehand - Bar Zantia, the House, Hairy Lemon, and Yates. See you there.... Sammy B, Marton

U can't beat a night on 'The Boat' for top tunes, great music, and lovely ladies. Stefan, Redcar
