I know it's only Wednesday and all, but I could just go for roast beef and Yorkshire puds.

You don't get 'em over here but top places for Sunday dinners on Teesside are the Ship at Redmarshall and that place at the garden centre on Junction Road, Norton. Oh, and The Travellers Rest on the A689 to Hartlepool used to be worth a visit too.

Excellant food and very reasonably priced is the Oak Tree Inn, just by Teesside Airport on the road to Middleton St George.

I highly recommend it. Oh, and the yorkie puds are brill too :o)

Hi Sprout

Also add to the list of good eating places the Waterwheel Inn Lingdale village offers a full 3 course carvery for 12.00 (well did the last time i was there price may have gone up now), also a full a la carte menu if you want to spend a little more. ( we would suggest you book reservation in advance as the place does set very busy). Or if you want a nice cheep meal the Mermade in Marske is perfect yur carvery is 2.99 on a lunch time mon to sat and evenings 3.99 only one course though, the usual starters and sweets are there if you want them.
