Hi,

Old Trafford is close to Wilmslow Road, Rusholme, where, along a 1 mile stretch, there are around 55 Indian Restaurants (Arguably the highest density in the World, and I have been to India!)

The quality and variety of dishes is superb and is without doubt unrivalled in the UK.

Your only problem is that in 2 days you won't be able to sample too much.

Regards,

Charles Turner

Also you have the area near Victoria station in the asian tailoring area. Only open in the day time & looking like transport cafes but the best & cheapest home cooked asian food available anywhere.

I can highly recommend the Al Bilal in Rusholme. I've been there lots of times and never had a bad meal. The staff are very friendly and courteous too.

Sheila

I thouroughly agree with Sheila.
The Al Bilal is the best restaurant in Rusholme and I've tried the majority.

Tim.

I had to go to Manchester yesterday, I finished my business at 2.00 so I tried to find the Yagdar restaurant in the rag trade area. I haven't been for a long while so I got lost. I was totaly amazed to find a restaurant in High street with the same name. I went in and found all the same staff. It seems they moved a few weeks ago. Still the same great cheap food. I had three curries and rice & a Samosa for £3.80. Excellent value. I hope I don't wait so long to return next time.
