hehe...

In the city center at that level, my favourite is Leodis. (on The Embankment, Sovereign Street, about two minutes walk from the station.) Last time I was there, we blew about £70 between the two of us. Excellent food, excellent wine...

Out in Headingley (I have to plug this place!), there's "Ferret Hall" -- a nice little bistro on North Lane, just opposite the Lounge cinema. Excellent chef, good wine, friendly staff... It's just a bit small, only 35 covers or so.

Have fun...
