What a star! Vaut le detour. <Major Snip> We tried the Punch Bowl in Crosthwaite on Sunday night. This is a pub serving food, albeit an up market one, rather than a restaurant - paper napkins, no tablecloth, etc. The food is excellent and very good value. Good raw materials, very well prepared. The wine list is short but also good value. It is not Michelin star material because of the setting but would probably get knives and forks. We enjoyed it and would heartily recommend it if you're in the neighbourhood. Vaut un petit detour! Manfred. From @ln.statoil.no Fri Jul 26 10:32:26 EDT 1996 Article: 26410 of rec.food.restaurants
