Well best place to eat in Cardiff would be to eat in Swansea !

You didn't specify what type of food but I can recommend one place, go down St.Marys street ( opposite draw bridge of Castle ) keep the castle to your back and towards the bottom half of the street there is a turning left, it is a narrow street just after the Brains Brewery Shop.

Can't remember the name of the street, but the brewery is in this lane on the left .... the lane is only about 200 yards long and opens into the area by Toy r Us.

As you go into this lane there is a restaurant entrance on the right hand side ... you then go up the stairs as it's on the first floor. In effect on the corner of the lane and St Mary street.

It is different, no carpets, simple decoration but blindingly good food .... specialising in excellent steaks. You will not find a better atmosphere nor food at such good value for money.

If you need full address, or more details .. then Email me and I will look in yellow pages.
