BLUE ELEPHANT in London

I went to this place in December, and I must say in is an absolute dive. I had the house specialty, cheesestakes with fried bananas, and I have never felt so sick in my life before. It is somewhat of a nice place in terms of atmosphere if you can see through the cloud of smoke being formed by those people commiting slow suicide. The water was good, and the bill was about L25/pp for dinner. Beware: The restaurant boasts about all these famous people who have been there, including the Princess and a bunch of other celebs. They have each been there... ONCE. They never went back, figure out why (read: they got raped when they dropped a block there, slang for it wasn't good)

I can reccomend, however, La Tante Clair, a wonderful 3 start restaurant located in Chelsea in the south west part of the city.
