It covers quite a large area... Between Houston and Corpus Christi is a little coastal town called Rockport. Good seafood restaurants and neat little shops. Our favorite restaurant is The Boiling Pot (Hwy 188--Rockport-Fulton), where they dump a whole mess of boiled seafood in the middle of a newspaper-lined table. The last time we were there, we got an assortment that included crawfish, stone crab claws, blue crabs, king crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn on the cob, and new potatoes. You might also want to post this request on the Houston.eats newsgroup. It's one of the busiest "eats/food" groups, and you'll likely get lots of responses to your inquiry. Have fun on your trip!
