Chuy's and Hula Hut are actually two restaurants owned by the same company. They also own Shady Grove.

>Balyhoo's Fish Tacos

They are closed.

Depends on cost and types of food you want (obviously!!)

It's 70 degrees here now, so go out to the Oasis and enjoy the view. Carlos and Charlies has an equally good view. Castle Hill is great, they change the menu each week. Carmello's downtown is good for Italian. Manuel's downtown for Mexican. Kyoto for Sushi County Line for Barbeque

Yeah but the food there are absolutely atrocious. The Hula Hut is a little better. Cafe Mozart has great desserts if you want it with a view.

Castle Hill had undergone a masochistic bent for extremely hot sauces and was becoming a self abuser's paradise. TheAustin Chronicle had chastised them for this trend, I don't know if they have stopped it or not.

Manuels has the best tortilla soup I have ever had.

County Line is great, the Salt Lick is good too, if you're willing to drive. The Ironworks is also really good.

A couple of great mexican places are: Gueros on Oltorf, fajitas at the Hyatt Regency. And for formal mexican food, no one does it better than Fonda San Miguel, on Hancock.

Hi !

I remember reading a WWW page at http://www.quadralay.com/ that had a ton of Austin restaurant listings. In any case, from my recent visit there, I suggest :

Kerbey Lane The Omlettry
Katz's Chez Fred's
and Threadgills.
