Also, try Calabash - it's on Manor near Eastside cafe (sorry, too lazy to get out the yellow pages...) and maybe even Shaggy's (S. Congress). Again, might be the wrong regional flavor, but it's worth a try.

Also, there's a pretty good Caribbean (sort of) restaurant in Marble Falls, of all places, called the Jammin' Cafe (or Cafe Jammin' or something like that). Was pleasantly surprised by good fried plaintains, Jamaican curried chicken, great grilled seafood, etc. Hokey island decor, but charming and friendly.

If you don't mind my asking, where'd you get married? Always looking for cool out-of-the-way island spots that come recommended. And what is lambi? We ate local delicacies like goat stew and a fish called wahoo (!) on Saba on our honeymoon, along with multitudinous Red Stripes, and I'm always looking for food to help recreate that wonderful island feeling.

It's called Jammin' House. We have been there many times...great food! There lunch specials are really great. You can get grilled salmon, greens, plantains and ginger cornbread for something like 5.95?
