Hao-Hao down on Wm Cannon and Manchaca has pretty good Chinese and Vietnamese food, try the BBQ Chicken Bun. There is also a Thai place that has a good lunch deal at Stassney and Manchaca. Rainbow Inn on the 290 South frontage is pretty good also.
