All-U-can-eat for $6.50 is the deal, and people were certainly taking advantage. There were four kinds of soups, many salads, several fish dishes, and plenty of desserts. The pot-stickers and eggrolls were not great. There was a big bowl of very fresh pico de gallo that was! A lot of dishes were sweet, but some at the table enjoyed this very feature, particularly the spare-ribs that were slow-cooked to the point where all the fat was rendered out but the meat was tender. There were several stir-fried all-vegetable dishes. There was no plain steamed rice, just shrimp-fried rice. The acoustics and lighting were good. There seemed to be a lot of public employees there in large groups. At any rate, this is a separate-checks place that isn't Luby's.....
