Just had to mention how great this place was.
Just a few high points:

      -the food was excellent, period.
      -the portions were massive;I still
         have a third meal in the to-go box
       I took home
      -the service was very friendly.  Even
       with passbook, which does not always
       get a real welcome, the waiter was very
       likeable.
      -glasses did not ever get below half empty
      -it seemed to be a family owned restaurant
       which I find personally appealing.

      Sorry about not mentioning the location.
      It is on Oltorf, east of I-35 right where
      the Pleasant Valley dip begins.  If you
      know Wan-Fu (another good one) it is right
      behind it on the north side of Oltorf.
