If you ever find yourself in Austin, please try Zoot on Hearn Street.  My SO and I LOVE this place.  They serve continental cuisine in Texas size portions.  Their menu is constantly updated.  The service is excellent. Entrees are from $9-18.  Reservations are a must on weekends.
