We started going there when they first opened up and when they only had about a dozen tables in the restaurant. The food was great, prices very good, and portions more than one could eat.. plus the attitude of the owners and staff (which at that time was only one or two people) were fantastic. But alas, over time it all changed. We also stopped going several months back, before they even moved. The last time we were there the attitude of the owner was down right rude. So we kissed it off. Too many good places in and around Austin to put up with attitudes like exist at Gumbo's now. Rod Holley
