I like Din Ho Chinese barbecue. Lots of interesting dishes and wonderful roast pork. As for dim sum, Twin Dragons is great. I think they serve on the weekends only though.

Tien Hong does dim sum, but only on the weekends. I have never ordered off of their regular menu, so cannot make any recommendation about it, anyone else?

Speaking of dim sum, I asked a while back but never heard... anyone know what happened to the Rainbow Chinese down south? Did it move or is it just gone?

For Chinese food in general, Pao's Mandarin House (800 Brazos, in an office building downtown) and Tien Hong (north Burnet) both get my votes. Both serve Dim Sim (of different types), but only, AFAIK, on weekends (when Tien Hong is very crowded).

Nope. The North Rainbow closed over a year ago, was replaced by Mong Kok, which was even more recently replaced with something called T & A Chinese Seafood, or some such, in the same location and with the same phone number. Pretty good Dim Sum, still.
