Chris and I have visited Gilligan's one time.

The reason we haven't been back is due to the hours of operation versus my health problems. By the time they open, I'm getting a bad case of nodding off to sleep for a few seconds now and then.

The one meal we had there was SUPERB!!!!! They had a mango sauce that really sticks with me.

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!

Try it then come back on and tell us how you made out.

An interesting choice of words. On our one visit my date accepted the waiter's recommendation for an entree while I sent compliments to the kitchen and had the chef to choose for me. We thought the dishes were 'OK', but that's could've been us or a sous chef having an off night.:) Fairly extensive wine list as I recall. Great atmosphere. The waiter was a true professional.

Give it a shot and let us know!

It's in my top 5 list here in town. As mentioned, the service is usually great, the food is very good (try *anything* jerked), and the drinks are strong.

You'll like it, and you can get in faster than at Gumbos (which *rules* btw :).
