Since my mom is in town, this morning I put on my glasses and ran out to Empenada Parlour on Fourth and Neches (I think that is where it is). I got nine different empenadas, some filled with fruit for breakfast and some with meat or veggies for lunch snacks. All I can say is yum, yum, yum!! All three of us in the house loved them. We had the apple, peach, apricot and then around lunch time the shanghi chicken, potato leek, spinich feta, and mushroom. Each little empenada was wonderful and fulfilling! I highly recommend going by and getting some to go or hang out and enjoy! JennyM. Oh yeah, we had a wonderful happy hour treat yesterday at ZTejas on 6th street. Half price appitizers! The seared tuna was my favorite, however the catfish beinets and dumplings got thumbs up as well.
