Best Pizza in Austin?

Hmmm... here are a few suggestions: Best way to eat something like pizza until you burst for pennies a day: any of the CiCi's locations. Their pizza isn't that great, but for $3 you get a big buffet and if they don't have a pizza you like out there, they will make it up and bring it to your table. Their spinach pizza actually hits the spot for me, but the buffet salad is pretty sad. Most garlic: Frank & Angie's Bela Lugosi... some tomato sauce, some cheese, and piles of whole clove garlic. Heaven at West and 5th! Plus, if you order between 4 and 6 every weekday, take 25% off your order (drivetime special). Best lunch pizza: Pizza Nizza on Barton Springs. I really like their caliente (hot) sauce, and a good choice of toppings. $6 for a big personal pizza with three toppings, bread, and a garden salad.

Worth the drive and don't forget the >struedel. I don't know, I wasn't all that impressed with Nick's pizza. Sure it has the razor thin crust but that's about all it had going for it. I guess my expectations were inflated due to all the positive posts. Your mileage may vary. For my tastes, Frank and Angies (behind Hut's off 6th St.) has some of the best NY style pizza around these parts, and it's a pretty good deal pricewise too. -Sean
