I like the steakhouse (lordy, can't even >remember the name, but its on the highway) better...again, reminded me >of a Texas panhandle farmer's cafe.... > >Robert -- ********************************* Terry says, When I first bought my property out here at Lake Bastrop, I think the Tahitian was closed. It opened sometime in 1996. The people who had 'My Family' in Wyldwood/Cedar Creek moved their operation to Tahitian Village. They didn't last long there either. The place is now Chabot's - a 'Mostly Italian' restaurant. They've been there about a year. It was pretty good at first but the menu was changed for the worse each time we went back. Finally, my wife ordered a smoked pork entree. It was tougher than Buffalo Shoe Leather. We haven't been back in about 6 or 7 months now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Terry at Lake Bastrop *--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*-- :-:Cops have a better chance of winning the :-:Texas Lottery Jackpot than they do of being :-:shot/stabbed/clubbed to death by a bad-guy/bad-gal *--*--*--*--*--*-|-*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*-|-*--*--*-- :-: Visit Terry's web page at: :-:http://www.io.com/~jvaughn/tmoore1.htm *--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*-- Copyright (c) 1998 by Terry Moore
