After several attempts at last minute reservations, my wife and I dined at Basil's last night and I have to say it isoverrated! The food was average except for the Carbonara which was very marginal. I was first introduced to Carbonara during a visit to Italy many years ago and had had great Carbonara here in the states many times since then. Overall, Basil's was somewhat of a disappointment!
