Had takeout sandwiches for dinner today from a Vietnameses restaurant called Ba Le. There are a few tables for a sit-down dinner with fast food restaurant ambiance, and they serve Vietnamese noodles along with sandwiches and a lot of different pastries, desserts etc. Price is almost ludicrously cheap ($5.50 for two large sandwiches and two pastries with meatball filling).

The sandwiches had a very distinctive Vietnamese flavor (ie. lemongrass) and offer a tasteful alternative to the usual stuff offered at the various sub-shops around town.

Ba Le is on Lamar, just south of Peyton Gin, and on the left if you are going North. Sorry, I don't have the phone number. I think this place is worth a visit.
