I just got back from the Calabash Carribean resturant on Manor Road in Austin TX, it is on the east side of Manor Rd close to the UT campus. I tried the Ox Tail and it was excellent, the prices are fair (ave dinner is $10) and the portions are definately large enough I was so stuffed after the main course that I almost had to cancell my desert, but of course that wasn't going to happen. The bread pudding was ok, I've had better but once again the main course was great. The decore is Jamacan , the music was pretty much reggae and carribean sounding remakes of popular songs. I recommend this place as a must for anyone visiting Austin or those who live and work in Austin. They also have special discount days for the various hi-tech companies and I think even state and local offices too. C.L. McCoy
