The other night, about 5 of us had a HUGE dinner at Din Ho. We got = there at about 8:30pm... which means we missed any roast duck or roast = pork. But we did try a number of dishes. Some were incredible, others = were fairly mundane. To start, we had Hot and sour soup (I didn't try it but those that did = liked it), I had the wonton with bbq pork noodle. It was different, it = had thin vermicelli noodle in with the wonton and lots of bbq pork. = Pretty tasty. Then we had a number of dishes.... (2 of the guys with us = are the size of line backers hence then number of dishes we ate).... We tried barbecued pork (tender, tasty but was served cool), barbecue = chicken (tasty but also served cool), general toss chicken (delicious! = nice sweet/hot flavor, crispy coating and served at a decent hot = temperature--- i don't like luke warm food), sizzling steak (almost an = Asian form of fajitas)--one of the best dishes, the meat was tender, = well flavored and served with lots of onions; moo goo gai pan (it was = ok, the dish itself is bland, but there were nice size chunks of = chickens and the veggies were crisp/tender); shrimp fried rice and pork = fried rice (heaping plates of both and each had decent amounts of = meat.. tho the shrimp were tiny); chinese broccoli in oyster sauce = (crisp/tender, very tasty one of my favorite veggie dishes there). = Needless to say there was plenty of food to take home. The prices there = are quite reasonable (considering what we ordered, we got out of their = for less than $75.00 including tip). The service could improve, it took forever to get our order taken, and = we did have to flag them down to fill up our drinks... but after a = while, they did make more of an effort to check up on us. We do plan to go back.... at an earlier time so we can try the duck and = roast pork....
