Why would you suspect that? Just because it's Pittsburgh. Have you been reading posts from some food snob from a larger city or another country who puts down everything in Pgh? Why don't you try it before making a judgement?

I have had excellent sushi at Koto Buki and Sushi Kim. (My favorite was the Oakside Inn - good *and* cheap - but, alas, they are no more.) I was not impressed with Kiku's sushi. Those are the only ones I've tried so far. Kate

Mediocre?!?! Best not tell them that. Sushi in Pittsburgh is not bad, just suffers from a lack of a choose-what-you-want all-you-can-eat place.

My recommendation, based on a twice or more a month sushi habit, is that the best is Kotobuki in the north hills. Second would be either Sushi Too or Sushi Kim, with the latter a bit cheaper but just as good.

you may get the best fish at Sushi Too but my choice would be Sushi Kim.

I was in Young Bin Kwan for dinner on Friday. According to the special list on the chalkboard as you walk in, they have AYCE sushi on Tuesdays (and maybe Thursday's too) for $24.95. Has anyone tried this deal yet?
