I Love Sushi at Chandlers Cove (South Lake Union) is my personal favorite. Heavily patronized by Oriental business types. Also just went to the new place in madison park last night. Kind of expensive but the mochi was great...email if ?? also Nikko at westin hotel if money is no object....

Tommy's on Eastlake is by far the best Sushi I have had in the Seattle area. Don't let the outside of the place fool you. Be sure to try the Bento. Yum!

Darn it.. now I gotta go to Tommy's again soon. :)

Noshino over in Madison Park is wonderful. It is owned by chef Tatsu Noshino & Scott Oki. The food is excellent, the dishes are Japanese pottery, and the restaraunt has a real nice feel to it. The staff is attentive and friendly.

I eat there frequently and always enjoy it.

I second the vote for the Kirkuya (I too don't know how to spell it!) It is
really wonderful. Also, there is a japanese restaurant in downtown bellevue
that used to be a sandwitch joint, across the street from the Puget Power
building. I like the fish better at the Kirkuya, but the other place has
 really satisfying teriyaki.
