I ate there on Friday, and agree with this post. The sushi was very good, and the portions were much larger than I'm used to. (The unagi, for example, was about twice as large as I expected. Not that I was complaining ;-)

At first I thought their prices were MUCH lower than, say, Sushi Too or Kiku, then I realized they were "per piece" instead of the usual 2. I like this, though, since it encourages experimentation.

I was rather amused by the fact that a waitress continually came by to take my order for pieces even though I was sitting at the bar :-)

Overall, I was very happy, and I will DEFINITELY be eating there again.

Let me also echo this recommendation. I went with a friend on Saturday to the Sushi House (what a boring name!) and I was pleased with the service (except for what is apparently a wide-spread problem with getting the check promptly) and I think the fish is simply the best of any of the sushi places in Pittsburgh. I also like the funky/quaint decor. The one flaw I see is on the menu -- or rather missing from the menu. Almost every sushi place I've evr eaten at offers soup and salad (and sometimes a bowl of rice) with a sushi platter. This place charges as much as any of its competitors for platters ($19.95 for a sushi & sashimi combo for one for example) but charges extra for soup and salad. This strikes me as rather chintzy and uncompetitive. They also need some sort of combo for two on the menu (not counting the insanely expensive "boat" -- seventy dollars!?). But in general, it's a great addition to a neighbour dominated by chinese restaurants and pizza joints, and I plan to eat there again real soon.
