Both have more than just "shushi." A very good restaurant can be found on College Ave. in Oakland's Rockridge avenue, about two blocks north of where the BART tracks pass College Avenue. This is Isobune - a really great place for both shushi and general Japanese Cuisine. There are other good restaurants in Berkeley, but their quality comes and goes with changes of owner and changes of chefs. Some of the "Japanese" restaurants in Berkeley are barf. Fred
