The best advice you can get from a native Chicagoan is don't do pizza at Gino's on E. Superior. In the loop, Edwardo's is the best (either N. Dearborn at Division or S. Dearborn on Printer's Row) with Giordano's a strong 2nd (Rush just south of Chicago Ave). There are lot's of others (Carmen's, Nancy's, Uno's, etc.) but stick with the regulars that win the most awards from the locals.

I miss it -- living on North Oakley, a couple of blocks away from the Howard Street location (is it still there?). They used to grow basil in terraria for the stuffed spinach pizza -- woof! They have apparently opened stores in the Denver area -- check 'em out when you're there.
Best chicago strly pizza in the detroit area is defenately Pizza Pappalis in Greek town. I have tried a lot of different places, but this is the best.
