Never had pizza quite like it anyplace else, but it was our default growing up. My brother and I still head over there regularly.

The slice of cheese ($1.55) is great. I had two of them. They are not very large. I could have easily eaten four. In the usual Chicago manner, they were overloaded with cheese (not that I'm complaining of course). The cheese did not smack of "part-skim" or anything artificial. It was plenty greasy. The crust was very thin, yet substantial enough to not begin to sag until about a third of the way from the crust edge. The sauce was a bit excessive in quantity, but yummy enough that its excess was ok. It was flawless, occupying exactly the perfect spots between sour and sweet, salty and bland. Falco's is a table service joint with a full bar. The dining room was exceedingly clean and did not in the least reek of bar. I guess I was bit surprised to walk into an earnestly and recently decorated place after my ride through the west side to get there. My coke, (tasted like RC to me) came in a very large glass and was refilled by my awesome waitress. On the downside, there were two accursed televisions on, with the sound on, and even worse, both tuned to different channels. Nonetheless, I'll be going back sometime for the double crusted Garlic Italiano Pizza. There appeared to be plenty of available street parking in the neighborhood at one PM on a weekday. YMMV at night or on weekends. Bike parking is the usual Chicago easy - street signs and parking meters abound for easy locking up. Falco's Archer and California (NW Corner)
