Good food, nice variety (some ethnic) and not too noisy. I also like Red River BBQ (can't get much more American than Texas! Eee, Haaa!!) up on Perry Highway. Those are my N-Hills non-ethnic eateries (I'm in the S-Hills). John

Where to take parents?
I've not been there personally, but I've had more than one favorable recommendation for "Recipes Remembered" off the Camp Horne Road exit (I think). Supposedly excellent seafood pasta and a suprisingly good wine list. Ed PRichter1 wrote: > Hi, > > My folks are coming to town. I took my parents to Poli, in Squirrel Hill. A fish restaurant with the mildest touch of Italian (a few dishes), ultimately plain American. They were very happy. Gwen
