A really good place and not too cheap is the General Warren Inn. Sorry don't have the number but you could call information
610-555-1212 (I think). I'm not sure if the Inn is in
Wayne, Valley Forge, or King of Prussia since they all run together. There is also a nice italian restaurant in Wayne, (I think it was off eagle School road).

Sorry I'm not more help. If you really need to know, e-mail me. My sister lives in Wayne and she knows all the spots probably.

Philly is better, but you should check out The Baron's Inn right in K. of P. Avoid the Kennedy-Suplee Mansion unless you really want to overpay. Most K-of-P, Valley Forge area restaurants tend toward the "Inn" variety, ie. Prime rib and flounder stuffed with crabmeat, baked potato and house salad. Some of the hotels are pretty good, notably Stouffer's. Phoenixville, nearby has the Seven Stars, notable for 2 lb. lobster tails or steaks. Delicious, but only for gluttons. Also in P'ville is the Columbia Hotel, and old standard with good food.

General Warren Inn is actually in Malvern, and a great place last time I was there, which was a few years ago...610-296-3637.

A bit north on Route 23 is the oldest French restaurant in the area, also an Inn, very expensive but also very good, beautiful drive: Coventry Forge Inn, Coventryville 610-469-6222.

There are tons of chain-type places in King of Prussia, which is right next to Valley Forge...

But Holly is right, Philadelphia is one of the best restaurant towns there is, take a drive and come into the City...

This is probably Primavera, on Lancaster Avenue near Eagle School Road. Yes, it's quite good. There is a Bertucci's Pizza across the street that is also good but usually very crowded. Also in that area is Samuel's, La Forchette and Taquet, all very expensive. I've only been to Samuel's and it was good but not outstanding compared to similar places in Philly.

In King of Prussia there is a Chinese place in the Valley Forge Shopping Center on Route 202/Dekalb Pike that is good and has a great lunch buffet. I don't know the name, but CompUSA is in the same center. In the upper/rear side of the center is Michael's, a great Jewish Deli. In the King of Prussia Mall there is Jade Garden, where the chinese food is OK and the sushi is very good (yeah, it's weird but common for chinese restaurants to have sushi out here). Otherwise, the food scene is pretty lame in King of Prussia.

In Conshohocken (5-10 minutes away) Big Fish is a new and very good seafood place (at Route 76 and 476) . A.C. Toland's on Ridge Ave is good and makes a nice crabcake. Tony & Joe's on Fayette has good pizza and Ted's on 2nd near Fayette makes an "Italian Stromboli" that is tremendous. Both make good cheesesteaks, Ted's makes a better chicken cheesesteak.

If you like Mexican, it's worth the trip to Philly for Tequila's. (It's only half an hour.) Also in Philly, there is Striped Bass, Circa, Michel's (all pretty upscale) and Jim's Steaks for cheesesteaks. Of course, there is a lot more in Philly, so ask if there is anything in particular you seek. Enjoy,
