related to Tessaro's is City Grill on the SOuth SIde. My experience is
that the food is equally good, and you are less likely to have to wait
 for a table.

Everyone knows Tessaro's in Bloomfield, but for a less known good burger place
try Hambone's on Butler Street in Lawrenceville.

The best burger I found in the area was in Sharon PA at a "dive" bar on main st that said best hamburgers in the world. My wife and I went in and ordered two burgers. The bartender said sorry they were out of buns, but his father was out buying some, so my wife and I had a beer and waited. Shortly his father arrived with the buns. The hamburgers were simple, but great with onions that made your eyes water. Also the buns were browned nicely. I do not remember the name of the place, but there is a oval sign with those words. Personally the best hamburgers are the ones I made myself.

My vote is for Fat Head's on the Southside. Great wings, salads
 and beer selection as well.
