I've eaten here a couple of times, and the food was mediocre
at best - it doesn't even come close to the food that Mai Thai used
to serve before it shut down. For my money, the best Thai food IMHO
is at the joint above Little's shoe store on Forbes Avenue in SquorHill.
I think it's called Siam Kitchen and the food has been very good each
time I've been there. Of course, it's a little more expensive than
Rama, but still quite reasonable. Dunno if they have any lunch
deals though - I'm at Pitt and it's a little too far out of my way to
 step out for lunch...

It's called Siamese Kitchen. It's the best Thai place I've found in
Pittsburgh. Try the Green Curried Chicken. Their phone: 521-0728

For comparison, if you're ever in the San Francisco area, try the following
 Thai places:
Plearn Berkeley, university a bit down from shattuck
Cha Am Berkeley, shattuck & cedar
Khan Toke San Francisco, geary ($)
Siam Sunnyvale, Stevens Creek near Lawrence
                   (next to bowling alley)
? Mountain View, El Camino Real
                   (also next to bowling alley)
     Orchid San Anselmo
