TacO'Leary's

A tiny dingy café in the South Side, right next door to Mike and Tony's
Gyros at the corner of Carson and 15th street, is now serving amazing
Mexican food in the evenings. The diner, called O'Leary's, is a little
family owned place that specializes in Pittsburgh eats during the day,
homestyle stuff like hot sausage and homemade chili and stuffed peppers,
etc., and then they let the grill out during the evenings to this huge
Mexican family, who make tortillas and soft tacos to _die_ for. I haven't
tasted Mexican this good since I went to Albequerque, and it's the real
thing, with fresh cilantro and spiced pork etc.etc. The windows are full of
signs in cheap neon poster board advertising the Mexican food in the
evenings, and the walls have cheesy Aztec decorations, and they serve the
 best tacos in the city.

This is the _real_ thing. That Mexican place in Bloomfield has ok stuff but
the prices here are great and the flavor is wonderful. Try it if real
Mexican eats are your thing. If you're from California you'll be homesick.
