Just to let you all know...the guys from the Spice Island Tea House have done it again! They have opened a new restaurant across the street and about a block towards India Garden in oakland...'The Road to K.....'...I'm not sure of the word...it is every bit as fabulous as Spice Island...some Asian oriented dishes, and a good bit of Indian style dishes...I tried it with a friend last week...just like Spice Island, prices are more than reasonable, portions are nice, atmophere is charming, servers are pleasant and helpful...you can even sit on the floor Japanese style if you like... Check it out...but go early, it is small...and it gets packed fast!
