The best tiramisu I've tasted in Pittsburgh, and I've tasted a lot, is
 at Regina Margherita in Lawrenceville.

I'm not entirely sure what constitutes "authentic" tiramisu, but I can
tell you that my friends and neighbors who introduced us to the place
are from Italy, like a year removed, and they tell me that it's the
closest to any they'd ever tasted back home.

Btw, they insist Buca di Beppo does not serve Italian food by any
 stretch of the imagination.

According to my epicurian sister, the best tiramisu that she's tried
in Pittsburgh is from il Pizziola on Washington Rd. in Mt. Lebanon.
