The restaurant with the ristaffel is Bachri's Indonesian in Castle
Shannon. I love Indonesian food and was really excited when I heard
about this restaurant but when I went there and actually tasted their
food I was appalled. It was atrocious! I have never gone back. I
make my own Indonesian food now since that's the only way to get it
in Pittsburgh. I have some friends who patronize Bachri's more or
less regularly and they say sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not.
I sure would like to see a good Indonesian restaurant open up, preferably
in Oakland. I recently drove all the way to Chambersburg to try an
Indonesian restaurant. It wasn't very good. Well, it was worth a shot.
I got spoiled by two excellent Indonesian restaurants that I used to
frequent when I lived in L.A. so I'd give anything for Pittsburgh to
 acquire one.
