Salutations, gentlefolk, Was wandering the borderlands of the Great Northeast over the weekend, and came upon the _Rajbhog Restaurant and Sweets_, at 738 Adams Ave (at the far corner of the shopping center at the corner of Tabor Rd) Had the buffet ($9). Not as many selections as the Univ City Indian restaurants, but the food was fresh and freshly cooked, and the spices moderate enough so you could taste the _food_. Place seemed to be run by one couple - wife did cooking (seemed that when one dish ran out it was replaced by a different item), man waited tables and cashiered (and seemed rather overworked). Enjoyed the meal very much. Don't know when I'll be in that neck of the woods again, but certainly, if you're interested in Indian, vegetarian, or certified kosher eating places, I would recommend that you check the Rajbhog out. And has a good reputation. An unlikely location for good restaurants, but there are a couple more. Lisbon/Madrid restaurant is in the same strip. I've never been there, but I've heard good things. Charlie's pizza has very good pizza. Charlie's and Alex's in Roxboro are out two favorite pizzarias. The Great Wall is an OK chinese restaurant. My husband has always really liked it, I think its just OK. I know about the area, because I used to live right across the Boulevard. Jennifer Halverson
