Well, since nobody offered any help I did go with the sport-coat and tie
and propably was still slightly under-dressed. Mostly an older crowd and
they come in suits and dresses. Very under-whelmed with the whole
experience. I can't believe this was the place I've heard so much about
for years. Service was good but formal to the point of appearing
unfriendly (perhaps a bad reaction to the sportcoat?). Our guests had
steaks and said they were very good, but do you tell people paying for
your meal the truth? My wife had a chicken dish she found very
dissapointing and I had crab cakes that were OK. But, for $31 I kind of
expect more than OK. So, anyway, we had a good time, spent a lot of
money, and found a place it was nice to have been to but don't really
 see ourselves going again.
