Here's a second for il pizzeola. It's probably our favorite 'everyday'
restaurant. Thanks for the Pizza Roma tip. I'll have to check it out
 sometime.

 Honorable mentions:

 Mineo's (good sicilian pizza too)
Aielo's (much better during the day)
 Vincent's
Bonacci Brothers (sub-standard Vincent's pretenders, still damn good
 though)
Minetello's ( must be eaten hot in the restaurant)

 It's actually a little silly to compare the above with il pizzeola;
 totally different styles of pizza.

Pittsburgh paradox: Why can't you get a decent pizza in Bloomfield, a
largely Italian neighborhood, while Squirrel Hill, a predominantly
Jewish neighborhood, is overflowing with pizza options?

You should try Unique Pizza on Liberty ave, or Pizza Italia. There are two
very good places in Lawrenceville too, Venenziano's and Supreme, both on Butler
 St.

I like Il Pizzeola's pizza, but, good as they are, they are probably the
third best pizza place in Mt. Lebanon. Caruso's makes the best pizza in
the area, and Bado's is also very good.

Have you tried all the good ones?

I've tried Mineos (both Sq. Hill and Mt. Lebanon locations). I've tried
Vincents. Both are good, but there are better. I'll take Caruso's (Mt.
 Lebanon) over either.

LoL... Pasko's Polish, and makes the magical pies... Ben's mother is
Sicilian, and her secret sauce recipe is the bomb that takes Pizza Roma into
 the other level.
