Peppi's hoagies

 I recently married a Pittsburgh woman, and while I was in the Burgh, she
 introduced me to the fantastic "hoagies" from Peppi's on Western Avenue
 (Northside).  Well, now we live in Texas, and there is not a hoagie to
 be found!  Does anyone have the recipes for Peppi's hoagies, or know how
 to find something comparable?  We're DESPERATE!!  We've come to the
 conclusion that we're going to have to "build our own" down here, but we
 want it to be as close as possible to the original  <<<sighhhh>>>.
