 Malcolm:

I'd recommend the Stone Mansion Inn, up in Franklin Park. My boyfriend and
I went there because I dared him to take me somewhere fancy, and it lived
up to both decor and food quality.

It's easy to get to: take 279N to 79N to Wexford Exit, make a right. It'll
be about half a mile or so on your right.

They take reservations and apparently seat you in certain rooms depending
on your dress (that's what a friend told us). Don't know if they're open
on Sundays, but definitely worth a phone call to check.

 Enjoy!

 I'd UNrecommend them...

... for exactly this reason. This place used to be called The Gryphon,
which was a "fine dining for all people" place. They advertised that
you could go in a tux or blue jeans, it didn't matter.

When we went back after their change they'd become a snooty
 nose-in-the-air "fine" dining pretend-class establishment. We weren't
in jeans but we weren't "dressed", so we were told we'd have to sit in
the bar. Which, of course, has no no-smoking area.

To paraphrase Miss Manners, you don't demand class, you just have it.

In that area, I would recommend instead The Kauffman House, in
Zelienople. They have excellent food, homemade breads and the like, nice
atmostphere, friendly yet unobtrusive service, and they could care less
how you're dressed [past the shoes & shirt stage, of course]. Truly
 fine dining.
